A report claims that Chelsea want to sign Barcelona defender Gerard Pique.

Chelsea are reportedly preparing a £20m move for Barcelona defender Gerard Pique, who is said to be unsettled at the Camp Nou.

The Spanish centre-back started the season out of Luis Enrique's first-choice XI, but has seemingly worked his way back into the side in recent weeks.

It is understood that the defender does not enjoy the best relationship with Enrique, however, which has alerted a number of European clubs.

Manchester United have been linked with a move for their former centre-back, but according to The Express, Chelsea are also in the hunt.

The 27-year-old re-joined Barcelona from Manchester United in 2008.
