Alexis Sanchez is reportedly willing to take a pay cut to leave Manchester United and follow Romelu Lukaku to Inter Milan this summer.

Alexis Sanchez is willing to take a pay cut to leave Manchester United for Inter Milan, according to a report.

Inter manager Antonio Conte is desperate to sign the Chilean as he continues to reshape his squad at the Nerazzurri.

According to the Daily Mail, Sanchez's representatives have agreed for their client to receive a slightly smaller salary than his former Manchester United teammate Romelu Lukaku.

The Belgian recently became Inter's highest-paid player ever after leaving Old Trafford for the San Siro.

While Sanchez's wages will not be an issue for Inter, the structure of the transfer could still prove to be difficult.

Manchester United want a £22m payment upfront for the 30-year-old, while Inter would prefer to pay in instalments over the course of a two-year loan deal.

Inter's favoured structure would see them pay £4.5m up front, and another £16.5m at the end of the second year.

Sanchez has scored just five goals in 45 appearances since swapping the Emirates for Old Trafford 18 months ago.
