Team News: Paddy McNair starts in only Manchester United change

Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal makes one change to his team for their match against Newcastle United as Paddy McNair replaces Darren Fletcher at Old Trafford.

Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal has made one change to his starting lineup to take on Newcastle United in their Premier League clash at St James' Park.

Paddy McNair replaces Darren Fletcher in the team from their 1-1 draw with Aston Villa last week. Robin van Persie and Radamel Falcao continue to lead the line in attack, while Wayne Rooney starts in midfield.

There is still no place in the team for Angel di Maria, who is out due to injury, along with Ander Herrera, Marouane Fellaini, Marcos Rojo and Luke Shaw.

Newcastle boss Alan Pardew has made two changes to his team following their defeat on Sunday in the Tyne-Wear derby to Sunderland.
Adam Armstrong and Vurnon Anita come into the team at the expense of Sammy Ameobi and Cheick Tiote.

Manchester United: De Gea, Jones, McNair, Evans, Valencia, Carrick, Rooney, Mata, Young, Van Persie, Falcao
Subs: Lindegaard, Rafael, Smalling, Blackett, Fletcher, A Pereira, Wilson
