Manchester United almost beaten again

Wilfried Zaha scores late on to claim a draw for Manchester United against Cerezo Osaka.

Manchester United's pre-season preparations almost took another hit as they scraped their first draw on their tour of Asia against Cerezo Osaka.

Robin van Persie should have got United off to the perfect start but squandered a good chance inside the first minute.

Anders Lindegaard was finding himself the busier goalkeeper as he was tested three times inside the opening 20 minutes.

The hosts' pressure finally paid off on 33 minutes when Kenyu Sugimoto latched onto a poor Chris Smalling pass to slot the ball home and give his side a half-time lead.

In the second half Ashley Young was fouled in the box for a penalty, but Japan international Shinji Kagawa missed the resulting spot kick.

However, he did not have to wait much longer for a goal as he poked in from a tight angle to the delight of the Japanese fans.

Eight minutes later Takumi Minamino hit a first-time effort into the top corner from the edge of the box to restore Osaka's lead.

However, Wilfried Zaha, who had caused havoc in the Osaka defence, grabbed a last-gasp equaliser for United.
