Preview: Manchester United vs. Southampton

Sports Mole previews Southampton's trip to Manchester United on Saturday.

Manchester United will be looking to win back-to-back Premier League matches for the first time this season when they play host to Southampton on Saturday.

David Moyes's side, who currently sit ninth in the table, go into the match off the back of a 2-1 success at Sunderland a fortnight ago.

United will be hoping to avoid consecutive home defeats in the league for the first time since May 2002.

Southampton have moved up to fourth place after winning their last three league games, the latest coming against Swansea City two weeks ago. The Saints could go top if they win and other results go their way.

United defender Rio Ferdinand is expected to feature after missing the club's last two league games, while Tom Cleverley could start.

Moyes may be tempted to hand a start to youngster Adnan Januzaj after his brace against Sunderland.

Southampton left-back Luke Shaw could replace Danny Fox in the team after recovering from an illness.
