Premier League in numbers: Week 19

Sports Mole looks back over the 19th round of Premier League matches with a selection of facts and figures.

West Ham United 3-3 West Bromwich Albion

In scoring for West Brom, Nicolas Anelka became the ninth player to score for six different Premier League clubs.

What's more, the French striker has scored four goals and assisted another four during his previous nine outings against the Hammers.

As for West Ham, they are now without a victory in their last six matches.

Aston Villa 1-1 Swansea City

Gabriel Agbonlahor's goal for Villa was only the third that he has scored in 30 appearances at Villa Park.

It was also the first home chance that Villa had converted in the first half of a match this season.

Meanwhile, Swansea have taken just 39 points from 37 fixtures in 2013.

Hull City 6-0 Fulham

There were a series of firsts for Hull, who had not won a match by six goals or more since 1994.

George Boyd and Matty Fryatt both scored their first goals at Premier League level, while Tom Huddlestone fired in his maiden goal in 54 games.

Fulham had never previously shipped six goals in a Premier League encounter.

Manchester City 1-0 Crystal Palace

Tony Pulis has visited the Etihad Stadium six times as a manager and lost on each occasion.

As for hosts Man City, striker Edin Dzeko ended a run of six Premier League encounters without a goal.

The Citizens are also the only side in the division not to have dropped points on home turf this term.

Norwich City 0-1 Manchester United

Danny Welbeck continued his fine run of goalscoring form for Man United by firing in his fourth goal in as many matches.

It also extended United's record at Carrow Road to 14 victories from their previous 17 visits.

Norwich have only been able to find the net eight times during their last 13 encounters with United.

Cardiff City 2-2 Sunderland

The late fightback resulted in Sunderland having lengthened their unbeaten away record to four encounters.

One of their two goals was scored by Steven Fletcher, who hadn't found the back of the net in his previous nine fixtures.

Fraizer Campbell has netted four goals this season, all of which have been fired in at the Cardiff City Stadium.

Newcastle United 0-1 Arsenal

Olivier Giroud ended a run of 499 minutes without finding the back of the net in scoring the game's only goal at St James' Park.

The Frenchman has hit 19 Premier League goals in total, 17 of which have been scored in London.

The defeat for Newcastle ended a run of four encounters without a loss.

Everton 2-1 Southampton

Just as Giroud did for Arsenal, Everton's Romelu Lukaku also ended a goal drought. The Belgian had failed to find net in 524 minutes.

Right-back Seamus Coleman took his goal tally for the season to five, including three in his last four matches.

As for Southampton, they have won only once from their last 15 trips to Goodison Park.

Chelsea 2-1 Liverpool

Luis Suarez has 19 goals to his name this season, but he was limited to just two shots at Stamford Bridge.

He was involved in the first goal of the game, though, which was scored by Martin Skrtel - it was the 1000th Premier League goal of 2013.

Six of Chelsea's last eight top-flight victories over Liverpool have come under Jose Mourinho's management.

Tottenham Hotspur 3-0 Stoke City

Going into the game, Spurs had not kept a clean sheet in their last eight matches.

At the other end, Roberto Soldado scored his fourth penalty of the campaign - a return that no other player can match.

Meanwhile, it took visiting Stoke until the 83rd minute to register their first and only shot on target.
