Manchester United fans again groaned at their team's performance as the Red Devils could only manage a goalless draw this afternoon against West Ham United in the Premier League.
It was the fifth time this season that the Red Devils have been held to a scoreless stalemate at home and it could have easily been a defeat as the Hammers hit the post twice in the first half through Mauro Zarate and Winston Reid.
The home side improved a little after half time, but they still only managed to get one of their 21 shots on target as the likes of Marouane Fellaini and Anthony Martial all misfired.

Goal
David de Gea: Only had one real save to make and did well to keep Victor Moses out in a one-on-one situation. Almost gifted West Ham a goal by spilling Aaron Cresswell's cross to Zarate. (6/10)
Defence
Paddy McNair: Only played the first half and what was shifted out to right-back perhaps because of the aerial threat of Andy Carroll in the middle. (5/10)
Chris Smalling: Not one of his best displays. West Ham were able to create plenty of chances and Smalling was almost the reason for a goal when his clearance hit Zarate in the face and ricocheted against the post. (6/10)
Daley Blind: Like Smalling, not tight enough at the back. Gave the ball away for Moses's chance. (6/10)
Matteo Darmian: Swapped sides and tried his best to get forward when possible. (6/10)
Midfield
Morgan Schneiderlin: Gingerly trudged off just before half time to be replaced by Michael Carrick after an ineffectual first half. (5/10)
Bastian Schweinsteiger: An integral part of United's previous two Premier League games, but much quieter today and arguably lucky not to be sent off for directing a forearm at Reid's throat in the first half. Subbed off in the 73rd minute. (4/10)
Juan Mata: Another passenger. The Spaniard struggled to create for his teammates and fired wide with his only opening. (4/10)
Marouane Fellaini: Started well and was everywhere in the opening stages, but faded in the second half and saw an effort saved from point-blank range. (6/10)
Jesse Lingard: Started ahead of Memphis Depay and did little to suggest that he will keep his place. (5/10)
Attack
Anthony Martial: The odd bright moment on his 20th birthday, but it's now eight Premier League games without a goal for the Frenchman. (5/10)
Substitutes
Michael Carrick: Took Schneiderlin's place and failed to make the slick impact some might have expected. (5/10)
Guillermo Varela: Included in a United squad for the first time and then given his debut at half time. It was a surprise to see the Uruguayan and he did OK. (5/10)
Memphis Depay: Only played 20 minutes, but probably the hosts' best player. Went on one brilliant run that almost resulted in a goal and seemed to have real desire to win the ball back. (7/10)

Adrian: Only had to make one save and what a stop it was as he threw himself at Fellaini's feet. (7/10)

James Tomkins: Chosen ahead of Carl Jenkinson and did a good job a little out of position at full-back. (7/10)
Winston Reid: The man of the match. So close to a goal when his header hit the post and barely put a foot wrong defensively. (8/10)
Angelo Ogbonna: Calm for the most part and helped frustrate the home side. (7/10)
Aaron Cresswell: Kept Mata quiet and it was his threatening cross that De Gea spilled. (7/10)
Midfield
Mark Noble: A disciplined, if quiet display from the Hammers captain. (6/10)
Alex Song: Solid in front of the backline and made one key interception. (7/10)
Cheikhou Kouyate: Got stuck in but struggled to make an impact going forward. (6/10)
Victor Moses: Had to come off after 36 minutes. Shot too close to De Gea early on. (5/10)
Mauro Zarate: West Ham's brightest player going forward, but guilty of missing the game's best chance when he screwed wide. (6/10)

Andy Carroll: Isolated up top. Set up the Zarate chance with a lovely layoff. (6/10)

Michail Antonio: Made only his third Premier League appearance and was keen to get involved after replacing Moses. Could start next week with injuries seemingly mounting up. (7/10)
