Robin van Persie to return against Swansea City

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal reveals that striker Robin van Persie is fit to feature against Swansea City on Saturday afternoon.

Manchester United striker Robin van Persie has been declared fit for his side's match at Swansea City on Saturday afternoon.

The 31-year-old, who has scored 10 times this season, was forced to miss United's 3-1 victory over Preston North End in the FA Cup on Monday night through injury.

However, manager Louis van Gaal has revealed that the Dutchman will be part of his 18-man squad that features at the Liberty Stadium.

Van Gaal has also announced that defender Phil Jones is available after missing the fixture at Deepdale.
