Louis van Gaal praises "capable" Jurgen Klopp ahead of Liverpool vs. Man United

Louis van Gaal praises Jurgen Klopp for adapting quickly to the Premier League ahead of Sunday's Premier League showdown between Liverpool and Manchester United.

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has praised Liverpool counterpart Jurgen Klopp for adapting quickly to the Premier League ahead of the Red Devils' trip to Anfield on Sunday.

Van Gaal and Klopp will meet for the first time in the Premier League, but they have gone head to head before while in charge of Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga.

Describing Liverpool's playing style under Klopp, Van Gaal told reporters: "You can see a very aggressive and pressing kind of playing the game. He has to learn the rhythm of the Premier League.

"He knows already the difference between the German and Premier Leagues. He is very capable to be a manager in the Premier League. The fans will love it."

Klopp has also credited Van Gaal ahead of Sunday's showdown, with United starting the match three points better off than their bitter rivals in the table.
