Manchester United striker Danny Welbeck is amongst those nominated for the Professional Footballers Association Young Player of the Year award.

Manchester United striker Danny Welbeck is amongst four English players nominated for the Professional Footballers Association Young Player of the Year award.

Arsenal midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has also made the list, alongside Chelsea striker Daniel Sturridge and Tottenham Hotspur defender Kyle Walker.

Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has also been nominated, and is joined in the lineup by Tottenham winger Gareth Bale, the winner of last year's main award.

Aguero has been installed as the early bookmakers' favourite to secure the award, closely followed by Welbeck and Bale.
