Michael Owen expects his Manchester United teammates to produce a "big performance" against Aston Villa later today.
A victory for the Red Devils will see them open up a five-point advantage at the top of the table over rivals Manchester City.
Having watched the team in training in recent days, Owen expects United to claim maximum points from Villa's visit.
"Getting ready to head to the match," Owen wrote on Twitter. "Huge game but the lads are looking sharp in training and I fancy us to put in a big performance!"
Owen has not featured for United since last year because of a thigh injury.
