Manchester United players want Marcus Rashford to be on penalties moving forward, according to a report.

Manchester United players are reportedly keen for Marcus Rashford to take the penalties moving forward after Paul Pogba missed from the spot against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Monday night.

Rashford scored a penalty on the opening weekend of the campaign against Chelsea, but Pogba stepped forward to take the spot kick against Wolves - missing his effort as the Red Devils dropped two points.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said after the match that both players would be on penalties this season and it would be up to the pair to decide who would step forward in any given match.

However, according to the Daily Mail, a number of United players believe that Rashford should be the number one taker moving forward.

Solskjaer is said to have already decided that the England international will be taking any future penalties to avoid a repeat of the on-field debate.

The 20-time English champions, who have taken four points from their two Premier League matches this season, are next in action at home to Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon.
