Matteo Darmian: 'I feel settled at Manchester United'

Manchester United defender Matteo Darmian reveals that he has already settled into life at Old Trafford, despite only making the move to England in the summer.

Manchester United defender Matteo Darmian has admitted that we wants to keep making improvements to his game after impressing during his opening six matches at Old Trafford.

Right-back Darmian has contributed to four United clean sheets since making the switch from Torino, and the Italian international has revealed that he already feels settled into life at the Premier League giants.

The 25-year-old told Corriere della Sera: "The important thing for me is that even though I'm a foreigner, I settled in straight away at Manchester United, thanks also to my teammates and the staff who made me feel part of the group.

"I put myself at the disposal of the coach immediately, with the utmost effort and humility.

"I want to stay true to myself. I am someone who worked hard to get where I am today and I intend to continue doing that. Manchester United is a beginning and not the apex of my career."

Darmian is a likely starter when United host Liverpool in their next Premier League fixture on September 12.
