Manchester United winger Ashley Young says that the team are capable of going all the way in the Champions League this season.

Manchester United winger Ashley Young has claimed that the team are more than capable of winning the Champions League this season.

The Red Devils have been through many transitional periods since Sir Alex Ferguson's retirement; not to mention managers, including David Moyes, Louis van Gaal and now Jose Mourinho.

The club are in the knockout rounds of the Champions League for the first time since the 2013-14 season, and ahead of Wednesday's last-16 first leg against Sevilla, Young has claimed that the team could go all the way.

"Of course [we can win the Champions League]," Sky Sports News quotes Young as saying. "You don't enter a competition not to win it. That's what we will be looking to do and take each game as it comes.

"The next one is against Sevilla. That's a tough away game like Huddersfield, like Newcastle away. That's what the stadium is like. We just have to concentrate on ourselves."

Last season, the Red Devils won the EFL Cup and Europa League.
