Yaya Toure plays down comments from agent

Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure moves to dismiss speculation that he is unhappy at the Premier League champions.

Yaya Toure has asked for his commitment to Manchester City to be judged by the displays that he puts in on the pitch.

Earlier today, the midfielder's agent claimed that his client was not happy at the Etihad Stadium, partly because the club had failed to acknowledge his birthday earlier this month.

However, the 31-year-old has moved to play down those comments with two posts on Twitter.

The Ivorian joined City from Barcelona in the summer of 2010.
