Manchester City youngster joins Ipswich Town on loan

Ipswich Town sign Manchester City youngster Alex Henshall on loan until the end of the season.

Ipswich Town have completed the loan signing of Alex Henshall from Manchester City.

The 20-year-old moves to Portman Road until the end of the season after impressing on trial over the past week.

A left-winger, Henshall has been with City since the age of 16 and had brief loan spells with Chesterfield and Bristol Rovers in the last two seasons.

He will wear the number 23 shirt for the Tractor Boys and could make his debut against Derby County tomorrow night.
