Manchester City 'plotting swoop for Porto duo'

Porto pair Eliaquim Mangala and Fernando are linked with moves to Manchester City.

Manchester City are reportedly plotting to swoop for Porto duo Eliaquim Mangala and Fernando.

Both player could join the Premier League leaders before the transfer window closes tomorrow evening, according to BBC Sport.

Mangala is a French international defender rated at £35m, while Fernando is a midfielder who has been linked with Everton and AC Milan in the past.

The former has also attracted interest from City's bitter rivals Manchester United.
