Manchester City owner Sheikh Mansour promises to pay out over £4.5m in player bonuses if the club lift the Premier League title this season.

Manchester City's players will reportedly each receive a £250,000 bonus if they win the Premier League on Sunday.

The Citizens lead the league table by a margin of eight goals and know that taking three points from their match with Queens Park Rangers at the Etihad Stadium will see them lift the Premier League trophy.

Mega-rich owner Sheikh Mansour is said to be extremely excited by the prospect of City being crowned champions of England for the first time since 1968 and has promised to make a £4.5m-plus payout to Roberto Mancini's squad, according to the Daily Star.

A recent survey found that Barcelona and Real Madrid are the only clubs in world football that pay higher wages than City.
