Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany is sidelined for a month with a groin injury.

Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany has been sidelined for four weeks with a groin injury.

The defender was forced off with the problem during Saturday's 3-1 win over Everton in the Premier League.

Kompany, 27, had only recently returned to action after suffering a similar problem back in August.

He will now miss Belgium's upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Croatia and Wales.
