Vincent Kompany content with Arsenal draw

Man City captain Vincent Kompany says that he is pleased with the Citizens' 2-2 draw away to Arsenal given the occasion.

Vincent Kompany has admitted that Manchester City's 2-2 draw with Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium today represented a good point for his side.

The Gunners had looked poised for a victory after producing a rousing second-half comeback, with goals from Jack Wilshere and Alexis Sanchez negating Sergio Aguero's first-half opener.

However, Martin Demichelis headed home an 83rd-minute equaliser to salvage a point for the champions against their title rivals, a result which the City skipper is pleased with.

"It is was an enjoyable game to play in and there were good performances all over the pitch," Kompany told BBC Sport.

"In these types of games, you have to be happy it doesn't go against you."

The Citizens moved up to third in the Premier League table following the draw.
