Preview: Manchester City vs. Sunderland

Sports Mole previews the Capital One Cup final between Manchester City and Sunderland.

Manchester City will be hoping to keep their aspirations of a domestic treble alive when they take on Sunderland in the Capital One Cup final.

City have eased through to a Wembley showdown with the Black Cats, coming through their last-four tie with West Ham United with a 9-0 aggregate triumph.

Manager Manuel Pellegrini welcomes back striker Sergio Aguero after his recovery from a hamstring problem, but Matija Nastasic and Stevan Jovetic will miss the match through injury.

Sunderland head coach Gus Poyet witnessed his team pull off a dramatic penalty shootout success against Manchester United at Old Trafford to reach the final.

However, Sunderland have lost two of their last three fixtures, and Poyet will make changes after last weekend's 4-1 defeat to Arsenal.

Defender Wes Brown returns from suspension, while Emanuele Giaccherini could be recalled after making a positive impact at the Emirates Stadium.
