Sergio Aguero expects to miss a month

Argentina striker Sergio Aguero reveals that he is likely to be out for a month after injuring his hamstring on international duty.

Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has revealed that he expects to be out of action for around a month after picking up a hamstring injury playing for Argentina.

According to Goal.com the injury sustained in the 2-0 loss to Ecuador was a torn hamstring, and further tests have revealed that the 27-year-old could be unavailable to Manuel Pellegrini for seven games in all competitions.

"I think I'm going to be out for a month," Aguero told reporters.

Aguero is almost certain to miss the derby against Manchester United later this month, while he is likely to be absent for the two Champions League fixtures with Sevilla.
