Manchester City star Sergio Aguero eases injury fears by confirming he's "fine"

Manchester City star Sergio Aguero confirms that he is "fine" after suffering a knock during his side's win over Southampton.

Manchester City star Sergio Aguero has insisted that the knock he suffered against Southampton at the weekend is "harmless".

The Argentina international was substituted 20 minutes into the second half of City's 3-1 victory at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday.

The 27-year-old recently returned to action after missing seven of City's games in a row due to a hamstring strain, but the striker has insisted that he is not set for a spell on the sidelines.

Aguero tweeted: "For everyone asking, I'm fine. It's just a harmless bump on the heel. Thanks, all of you, for the support!"

City are at the top of the Premier League table after 14 games.
