Southampton defender Dejan Lovren is thought to be on the verge of a move to Liverpool after the two clubs reportedly agree a £16m fee.

Southampton have reportedly accepted a £16m bid from Liverpool for defender Dejan Lovren.

The Croatia international has been heavily linked with a move to Anfield this summer, and it had been reported that the Saints had already turned down a bid for the 25-year-old.

However, the Daily Express now reports that the two clubs have agreed a £16m fee for Lovren, and that he will sign a four-year contract with last season's Premier League runners-up.

Lovren joined Southampton from French side Lyon last summer.
