A report claims that Liverpool are considering a move for Sporting Lisbon left-back Marcos Rojo as talks over a move for Sevilla's Alberto Moreno continue to stall.

Liverpool are reportedly considering a move for Sporting Lisbon left-back Marcos Rojo.

The Argentine defender has been linked with a move to Southampton this summer, but it is understood that the full-back wants Champions League football.

Liverpool have long been linked with a move for Sevilla's Alberto Moreno, but with talks stalling, the English club could make a move for Rojo, according to The Express.

Rojo admitted earlier this week that he is unsure if he will depart Sporting this summer.
