Liverpool are reportedly on the verge of signing winger Lazar Markovic from Benfica.

Liverpool have reportedly had an offer accepted by Benfica for winger Lazar Markovic.

The Reds have been repeatedly been linked with the Serbia international, who scored five goals in 25 appearances in the Portuguese Liga last season.

According to Sky Sports News, Liverpool made a £19.8m bid for the 20-year-old earlier this weekend, which has been accepted by the Portuguese side, although neither side have confirmed that deal.

Liverpool have already signed Rickie Lambert, Adam Lallana and Emre Can this summer.
