Report: Jordan Henderson agrees new five-year contract

Jordan Henderson reportedly agrees a new five-year contract with Liverpool that will keep him at the club until 2020.

Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson has reportedly agreed to sign a new five-year contract with the club.

The 24-year-old's current contract is due to expire next summer, leading to increased speculation surrounding his future at Anfield.

However, according to The Telegraph, the England international will sign a new £100,000-a-week deal by the end of this week.

He is believed to have agreed terms with the club before their FA Cup semi-final defeat against Aston Villa on Sunday.

Henderson is in his fourth season at Liverpool, having joined the club from Sunderland in June 2011.
