Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini: 'All teams want Raheem Sterling'

Manuel Pellegrini hints that 'all teams' want Liverpool star Raheem Sterling, but refuses to confirm if that includes Manchester City.

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has suggested that 'all teams' are interested in signing Liverpool star Raheem Sterling.

The Chilean coach refused to confirm or deny reports that the former Premier League champions are part of the pack hoping to snatch the England international from Anfield this summer.

Widespread reports have claimed that Sterling, who has two years remaining on his current contract, has no intention of signing a new deal with the Reds.

When asked about City's rumoured interest, Pellegrini told reporters: "I give you the same answer that I gave you last week. I don't talk about rumours, but there are a lot of very important players that maybe all the teams want.

"I don't know what will happen with Sterling or the other players. We finish the season on Sunday and after that we will see what we need and which players can come here."

Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea and Bayern Munich have also been linked with the player.
