Barcelona midfielder Javier Mascherano has reportedly opened the door for a return to the Premier League.
Mascherano made 139 appearances for Liverpool between 2007 and 2010, and the Argentine international could potentially secure a return to Anfield in the summer.
According to The Mirror, representatives for the 29-year-old have made it clear that the Barcelona player is available after falling out of favour at Camp Nou.
Mascherano, whose contract at the Catalan giants expires in 2015, is said to be available for around £9m.
