Liverpool are reportedly weighing up a move for Lyon defender Dejan Lovren.

Liverpool are reportedly weighing up a move for Lyon defender Dejan Lovren.

The Reds will have to replace Jamie Carragher at the end of the season after the defender announced he will be retiring in May.

According to the Daily Mail, Reds boss Brendan Rodgers is lining up Croatian Lovren as Carragher's replacement.

It is also reported that Everton and Chelsea are showing an interest in the 23-year-old.
