A report in the Netherlands says that Brendan Rodgers is confident of adding PSV Eindhoven attacker Zakaria Bakkali to his Liverpool squad.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers will reportedly attempt to sign PSV Eindhoven youngster Zakaria Bakkali during the summer.

The Belgium international is thought to have been the subject of interest from numerous clubs ever since he scored a hat-trick against NEC Nijmegen earlier this season.

However, despite the large number of potential suitors, Rodgers is confident that he can secure the 18-year-old's services, according to De Telegraaf.

The report also claimed that Real Madrid would be prepared to match any offer that Liverpool were to make.
