Jermain Defoe has insisted that he is "feeling stronger than ever" as he looks for a club in the Premier League.
The former Tottenham Hotspur striker left England for Toronto and the MLS last winter, but he has since made it known that he is eager to return to his homeland during this month's transfer window.
Taking to Twitter this afternoon, the 32-year-old revealed to potential suitors that he is in good shape.
"Just touched down in the UK from south of France,was training with my fitness guy feeling stronger than ever," he wrote.
A host of clubs, including Liverpool, Queens Park Rangers and Leicester City, have all been linked with Defoe's services.
