Liverpool have made two changes to their starting lineup for tonight's Premier League encounter with Sunderland at Anfield.

Andre Wisdom comes into the defence for the hosts following a hamstring injury to Jose Enrique, while Lucas Leiva replaces Joe Allen in midfield.

New signing Daniel Sturridge has not been included in the squad but he will watch the game from the stands.

Manager Brendan Rodgers has also returned to the dugout after he was forced to miss Sunday's win at Queens Park Rangers through illness.

Meanwhile, John O'Shea has missed out for visiting Sunderland with a hamstring injury, while Steven Fletcher will feature as a lone striker.

Liverpool: Reina; Wisdom, Johnson, Agger, Skrtel; Gerrard, Henderson, Lucas, Downing; Sterling, Suarez

Sunderland: Mignolet; Kilgallon, Cuellar, Rose, Colback; Larsson, Gardner, Johnson, McClean; Sessegnon; Fletcher
