Liverpool welcome Arsenal to Anfield on Sunday still seeking their first win of the 2012-13 Premier League season.

The Reds began their campaign with a 3-0 hammering at West Bromwich Albion, but recovered their spirits last weekend when they held champions Manchester City to a 2-2 draw at Anfield.

Arsenal too are in the hunt for their first win as well as their first goal. Successive goalless draws with Sunderland and Stoke City have put manager Arsene Wenger under some pressure, and the Gunners cannot afford to drop more points at Anfield.

Defender Daniel Agger will return from suspension for Liverpool, and midfielder Nuri Sahin is expected to make his debut for the Merseyside club. Youngster Raheem Sterling could start yet again for the Reds.

Arsenal goalkeepers Wojciech Szczesny and Lukas Fabianski are both struggling, while defender Bacary Sagna remains a long-term injury concern.

Laurent Koscielny is recovering from a calf problem and will undergo a late fitness test. Jack Wilshere (ankle), Emmanuel Frimpong (knee) and Tomas Rosicky (thigh) all are out with long-term injury problems.

Current form:
Liverpool:LD
Arsenal:DD

Possible lineups:

Liverpool: Reina, Johnson, Skrtel, Agger, Enrique, Sahin, Gerrard, Allen, Downing, Suarez, Sterling

Arsenal: Mannone, Jenkinson, Mertesacker, Vermaelen, Gibbs, Cazorla, Arteta, Diaby, Gervinho, Giroud, Podolski

Sports Mole says: 2-1
