Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet has called for Raheem Sterling to maintain his good form.

The 19-year-old winger has enjoyed a prolonged run in the side this season after rediscovering the form that he showed when he first broke into the team at the beginning of last term.

Mignolet told the Liverpool Echo: "The gaffer spoke the other day about how well Raheem is doing.

"He's very strong and very determined. Raheem wants to do well week in week out and long may that continue.

"There are a lot of young players battling to get in the England squad and he's certainly one of them."

Liverpool are currently fourth in the Premier League.
