Jurgen Klopp: "I want to see more bravery, more fun"

Jurgen Klopp says that Liverpool need to be "more brave" and have "more fun" when they face Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.

Jurgen Klopp has challenged his Liverpool players to show "more bravery" and have "more fun" on the pitch.

Liverpool have scored just eight goals in as many league games so far this season to leave them in 10th place in the Premier League.

However, Klopp said at a pre-match press conference that he wants to see his new side "run and fight together" in order to have a positive impact on results, starting at Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.

He said: "We need to be very active. We're playing a very good Premier League team on Saturday who have been together a long time.

"We have to run and fight together. I want to see more bravery, more fun in their eyes. I want to see that they like what they do. I saw it this week.

"We need to get confidence back in our skills and qualities. Against Aston Villa when this team conceded everything changed.

"We have to learn again that it's not important what faults we make in a game. We have to be compact and close."

Klopp's first game in charge of Liverpool kicks off at 12.45pm at White Hart Lane on Saturday.
