Europa League roundup

Sports Mole rounds up all of the action on matchday two of the Europa League.

Group A:
Liverpool suffered their first defeat of this season's group stage as they went down 3-2 to Udinese in a thrilling encounter at Anfield. Meanwhile, Anzhi Makhachkala moved to the top of the group with a comfortable 2-0 win at home to Young Boys, who remain pointless.

Group B:
It took a late goal from Cristian Rodriguez to help Atletico Madrid see off Viktoria Plzen 1-0 at the Estadio Vicente Calderon, while Academica picked up their first point of the competition with a 1-1 draw at home to Hapoel Tel Aviv.

Group C:
Marseille gave their goal difference a shot in the arm with a 5-1 thrashing of AEL, but Fenerbahce are hot on their heels after they won 4-2 against Borussia Monchengladbach in Germany.

Group D:
Newcastle United are up to second in Group D thanks to their 3-0 triumph over Bordeaux at the Sports Direct Arena. They are now two points behind Brugge following the Belgian side's 2-0 win over Maritimo.

Group E:
Molde remain top of their group with a 2-0 victory against Stuttgart and Steaua Bucharest recorded their first win as they edged past FC Copenhagen 1-0.

Group F
Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk narrowly defeated AIK Solna 3-2 in Sweden to stay top of Group F, but Napoli lost ground on the Ukrainians after they were soundly beaten 3-0 away to PSV Eindhoven.

Group G:
Leaders Genk squandered a two-goal lead to draw 2-2 at Basel in Group G, while Videoton got off the mark by brushing aside Sporting Lisbon 3-0 in Hungary.

Group H:
Inter Milan are still unbeaten in the competition this season thanks to a 3-1 win over Azerbaijanis Neftchi Baku. Second-placed Rubin Kazan are behind the Italians on goal difference as they disposed of Partizan Belgrade 2-0.

Group I:
Lyon earned a dramatic 4-3 win over Hapoel Ironi Kiryat Shmona in Israel to keep themselves top of Group I as Sparta Prague downed Athletic Bilbao 3-1 to open up the standings.

Group J:
Tottenham Hotspur let their lead slip as they were held to a 1-1 draw at Panathinaikos and Lazio took full advantage with a 1-0 win over NK Maribor.

Group K:
Matalist Kharkiv top their group after a 2-0 victory over Rapid Vienna, with Bayer Leverkusen winning for the first time against Rosenborg 1-0 in Denmark.

Group L:
Hannover's 2-1 win at home to Levante has seen the Germans move top of Group L, while Helsingborg and FC Twente battled it out in a 2-2 draw in Sweden.
