Russell Slade keen to boost Leyton Orient squad

Leyton Orient boss Russell Slade reveals that he wants to boost his squad even further before the end of the summer.

Leyton Orient boss Russell Slade has revealed that he is looking to boost his squad ahead of the new season.

The League One club have brought in four new players so far this summer as they look to mount another promotion challenge.

However, Slade believes that he will need to strengthen even further if the O's are to get themselves into the Championship.

"We're trying to add to the squad to give us a little bit more strength and I think that will be a lifting factor as well," he told the Epping Forest Guardian.

"If we can strengthen the squad in the coming weeks before the start of the season then I will be delighted and I'm sure the lads that have been with us for such a long time will."

Orient get their new season underway on August 9 when they entertain Chesterfield.
