Levante goalkeeper Keylor Navas hails his side following Monday's 2-0 win over Granada in La Liga.

Levante goalkeeper Keylor Navas has admitted that Monday's 2-0 win over Granada was "really important" in terms of their La Liga survival.

The victory moved Levante onto 40 points, 10 points clear of the relegation zone with just seven matches of the campaign remaining.

"For the team to win the three points at Granada, was really important. We had the urge to win, the team made a real effort and worked very hard in what was a very difficult game," Inside Spanish Football quotes Navas as saying.

"We've reached forty points and that now puts us closer to our primary objective."

Levante have won 10 of their 31 league games this season.
