Leicester City reportedly express an interest in signing Sunderland forward Connor Wickham.

Leicester City are reportedly interested in signing Sunderland forward Connor Wickham.

The 21-year-old impressed towards the end of last season and scored five goals in the Premier League to help the Black Cats to avoid relegation.

According to the Daily Mail, Leicester manager Nigel Pearson wants to improve his attacking options and it is believed that Wickham is one of his primary targets.

Wickham joined Sunderland from Ipswich for a fee of £8m in 2011.
