Wes Morgan backs Leicester City to survive in Premier League

Wes Morgan believes that Leicester City are good enough to stay in the Premier League, despite failing to win any of their last seven matches.

Leicester City captain Wes Morgan has insisted that the team is good enough to stay in the Premier League.

The Foxes, who have failed to win their last seven league matches, played out a goalless draw with Sunderland at the King Power Stadium on Saturday.

Morgan believes that there are many positives to be taken from the side's performance.

"Psychologically to get a point and a clean sheet is all positive," he told the Leicester Mercury. "We have to build on that. In most of the games this season, we have given a good account of ourselves. We have to keep believing.

"We know we are good enough. It is about going out there, getting the right results, getting the goals and keeping clean sheets."

Leicester sit 18th in the table, a point adrift of safety.
