Liam Moore, Jeff Schlupp ink Leicester City extensions

Leicester reward defenders Jeff Schlupp and Liam Moore with contract extensions that will keep the duo at the King Power Stadium until 2017.

Liam Moore and Jeff Schlupp have both put pen to paper on new three-year deals with Leicester City, the club has confirmed.

The defenders played prominent roles in helping the Foxes end a 10-year top-flight exile by winning automatic promotion to the Premier League last season.

Consequently, Leicester boss Nigel Pearson has rewarded the duo with deals that will keep them at the King Power Stadium until 2017.

"It feels absolutely brilliant to sign my contract. It's great to get it done and commit my future to this great club," Moore told the club's official website.

"This is my home town club and I made it clear that I wanted to stay at Leicester City from the word go."

Schlupp, meanwhile, added: "I'm Leicester through and through and now I can't wait to try and show what I can do in the Premier League."

Pearson's side begin their new era in the top tier by hosting Everton on August 16.
