Leeds United confirm that defender Marius Zaliukas has had his contract terminated by mutual consent.

Leeds United have confirmed that defender Marius Zaliukas has left the club by mutual consent.

The Lithuanian, 30, had one year remaining on his contract at Elland Road.

Zaliukas made 15 appearances for United after joining the club in October 2013.

Leeds get their Championship campaign underway at Millwall on August 9.
