Leeds United's friendly opponents in Italy fail to show up

Leeds United are forced to postpone their pre-season friendly against Viitorul Constanta as the Romanian side fail to show up.

Leeds United's pre-season friendly against Viitorul Constanta had to be called off this afternoon as the Romanian side didn't turn up.

The teams were due to face off in Italy at 4pm this afternoon, but Leeds revealed on Twitter that their opposition had failed to show up.

"Our game with Viitorul Constanta has been forced to be called off due to the Romanian side not turning up at the ground," said the Yorkshire club.

To appease the supporters who have turned up to watch, Leeds will field two XIs against each other.
