Massimo Cellino 'picking Leeds United formation'

Leeds United owner Massimo Cellino reportedly enters the dressing room during two games to discuss tactics with manager Steve Evans.

Leeds United owner Massimo Cellino has entered the dressing room twice during games in recent weeks to alter the team's formation, according to a report in the Daily Star.

The controversial entrepreneur, who is currently fighting disqualification from his position at the club, is said to have spoken with manager Steve Evans about his tactics at half time of the side's game with Queens Park Rangers last month.

United went on to lose the match 1-0 as Charlie Austin found the net for the hosts on the hour mark.

The newspaper reports that Cellino also requested changes during the goalless draw with Charlton Athletic on Saturday, which saw Scott Wootton replaced by Gaetano Berardi three minutes after the restart.

Speaking after the match, Evans urged supporters to set aside their unrest with Cellino and back the team.

"I would just like to say, I understand the supporters' frustration, but I don't get involved in what's happening other than what's on the grass," he told BBC Radio Leeds. "But I'd just like to say whether the chairman turns up or whether he doesn't, just back the team for the 90 minutes."

Leeds currently sit 18th in the Championship table, seven points clear of the dropzone.
