Southampton striker Pablo Osvaldo has completed his medical ahead of a loan move to Juventus, it has been reported.

A down payment of £300,000 has been made to the South Coast club, with the option of a permanent move in the summer, according to Sky Sports News.

The Italy international has allegedly picked his Juve squad number already, opting for the number 17 as previously worn by David Trezeguet and Nicklas Bendtner, Canale Juve has reported.

The former Roma signing has encountered controversy during his time with the Saints, receiving a two-week suspension in relation to a training ground incident.
