Team News: Antonio Conte rings the changes

Juventus coach Antonio Conte makes six changes for this afternoon's Serie A clash with Catania.

Juventus coach Antonio Conte has made wholesale changes for this afternoon's Serie A clash with Catania.

Conte makes six changes in total from the side that comfortably progressed to the Champions League quarter-finals against Celtic in midweek.

Georgio Chiellini returns to the centre of defence as he continues to nurse an ankle problem.

Despite scoring in midweek, Alessandro Matri and Fabio Quagliarella both drop to the bench in favour of Sebastian Giovinco and Mirko Vucinic.

Stephan Lichtsteiner and Kwadwo Asamoah are also back in wide areas, with Federico Peluso and Simone Padoin missing out.

With Arturo Vidal out through suspension, Claudio Marchisio returns in central midfield to partner Andrea Pirlo and Paul Pogba.

Catania are without influential defender Nicola Legrottaglie, who is unavailable against his old club through suspension.

Giuseppe Bellusci takes his place in defence, while Lucas Castro earns a recall to partner Alejandro Gomez in attack.

Juventus: Buffon, Barzagli, Bonucci, Chiellini, Lichtsteiner, Pogba, Pirlo, Marchisio, Asamoah, Giovinco, Vucinic

Catania: Andujar, Alvarez, Spolli, Bellusci, Izco, Biagianti, Lodi, Almiron, Marchese, Castro, Gomez
