How Juventus could line up against Udinese

Sports Mole looks at how Juventus could line up for this weekend's Serie A clash with Udinese as they bid to make it 10 wins in a row at the start of the season.

For all of their dominance of Italian football - and occasionally European football - down the years, Juventus have never started a season quite as well as they have this term.

The 3-0 Champions League win over Young Boys in midweek made it nine wins in a row at the start of a campaign for the first time in the club's illustrious history, leaving them once again in control of the Serie A table.

The seven-time defending champions are already six points clear of their closest challengers Napoli at the top of the table, having beaten the Naples outfit 3-1 last weekend.

Massimiliano Allegri's side face Udinese on Saturday looking to make it a perfect 10, and here Sports Mole looks at how they could line up for the match.

Possible JUV XI vs. UDI

Out: Sami Khedira (thigh), Mattia De Sciglio (thigh)
Doubtful: Douglas Costa (ankle)

Juventus will be boosted by the return of Cristiano Ronaldo, who served his one-match Champions League ban in midweek and will be restored straight into the starting lineup for this one.

Paulo Dybala has not always been an automatic selection for Allegri this season, but his hat-trick against Young Boys makes him almost impossible to leave out this weekend, and he is likely to play just behind Ronaldo and Mario Mandzukic.

Sami Khedira and Douglas Costa are both still struggling with injuries, so Emre Can could return to the starting lineup with Juventus expected to revert back to a 4-3-1-2 formation, having played three at the back in midweek.

Giorgio Chiellini missed the win over Young Boys but should be restored alongside Leonardo Bonucci at the heart of the defence, with Joao Cancelo also returning on the right.
