Ipswich Town complete a deal to bring West Ham United keeper Stephen Henderson back to Portman Road on loan until the end of the season.

West Ham United keeper Stephen Henderson has joined Ipswich Town on loan until the end of the season.

The 24-year-old returns to Portman Road after making 15 appearances for the club earlier in the campaign in a previous loan spell.

Sam Allardyce's side have a 24-hour option recall as part of the deal should they need the former Republic of Ireland Under-21 international.

The deal had to be completed today due to terms which state that clubs are not allowed two emergency loans in one season outside of the transfer window.
