Rudi Garcia: 'Roma playing to win against Napoli'

Roma manager Rudi Garcia says that he is targeting a victory against Napoli when the two sides meet in Serie A on Sunday evening.

Roma manager Rudi Garcia has said that he is targeting a victory against Napoli when the two sides meet in Serie A on Sunday evening.

The Giallorossi are six points clear of the Naples outfit in the table, and Garcia admits that while he would be happy with a draw, his team will set out to claim all three points.

"One thing's for sure, this is not a final," he told reporters. "They still have 11 games to play, we still have 12. We're six points ahead of them and have a game in hand.

"If they lose, a second-place finish in Serie A would be almost out of the question for them, but the result makes little difference to us. We'll still be second with a game in hand.

"Two strong sides face each other and I hope we see a game as good as the first leg of the Coppa Italia: a match-up between good players officiated by a good referee. A draw? That would be a decent result, but if we go there looking for just a point, that's a sure-fire way of losing."

Roma are second in the league, having lost just one game all season.
